The Programme is delivered primarily online and in hybrid format, with physical attendance in Greece required only for two onsite educational events: the
Bootcamp, held in October, and the
Hackathon, held in June.
For participation in these short-term onsite activities, non-EU students may apply for a
Type C Schengen visa, subject to the requirements and assessment of the competent Greek Consular Authorities.
Students may apply for:
- a single-entry Schengen visa for each educational event; or
- a double-entry Schengen visa covering both the Bootcamp and the Hackathon, where applicable.
As the Programme does not require continuous physical presence in Greece and is primarily delivered online, it does not normally constitute a long-term study arrangement requiring a
Type D national visa.
Students are advised to
apply well in advance and to consult the
Global Visa Center website for the applicable visa application procedures and supporting-document requirements.
Please note that the final decision regarding the type, duration and validity of the visa rests exclusively with the competent Greek Consular Authorities.
