πŸ‘©β€πŸ’»#Hackathon: Innovation Competition

Experimentation and co-creation are at the heart of the MA in Digital Transformation. That's why we push the boundaries of innovation every year with our annual #Hackathon, at the end of the second semester.

Confronted with complex, multi layered societal and institutional challenges, student teams are challenged to design ethical, scalable, and practical digital solutions that address the friction points between technology, governance, and human impact.

How It Works

  1. The Challenge: Each year features a new central theme. Students work on specific real world scenarios and trending digital topics co-created with institutional partners.
  2. The Methodology: Students form mixed teams combining all three specializations. Supported by mentors throughout the weekend, participants attend lightning talks and expert panel discussions to gain deep insights and guide their teamwork.
  3. The Deliverable: Teams pitch their strategic solutions and no code or AI prototypes to a panel of expert judges, concluding with the awards ceremony for the winning teams.
