👩‍🎓As part of her graduation project, Ioanna Skondra developed 𝗔𝗿𝗸𝗔𝗶𝗱 - a digital platform aimed at supporting refugees, asylum seekers and unaccompanied minors. ❤️‍🩹

ArkAid uses AI and open data to provide:

🗺️ Real-time mapping of vital services like healthcare, housing and legal aid.

🚨 Human trafficking detection systems in collaboration with authorities.

📱 Safe, multilingual communication channels and cultural mediation tools.

🎮 Gamified education to increase awareness and resilience.

🛠️ Though still a prototype, ArkAid shows a clear commitment to using responsible technology to connect, protect, and support those who need it most.

🤝 With the right collaboration between public institutions, NGOs, and international organizations, ArkAid could grow into a valuable tool for supporting vulnerable populations.

📌 The project was shaped under the academic guidance of:

👩‍🏫 1) Maria -Daniella Marouda, Associate Professor of International Law and Humanitarian Law at Panteion University and Member of the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) of the Council of Europe.

👩‍🏫 2) Neni Panourgia, Anthropologist and Affiliated Faculty at the Program in Hellenic Studies at Columbia University, and Associate Professor at the Prison Education Program, Psychology Department.
