MA Students launch the Digital Democracy Foundation
We’re incredibly proud of our students Ioanna Skondra & Renée Gkatsi who are among the founding members of the Digital Democracy Foundation, a brand-new, independent think tank working to strengthen citizen engagement across the EU through innovative digital tools and initiatives.
Their aim is to promote a more inclusive, transparent and participatory democracy, where every voice is heard and every action can make a difference at local, national or EU level.
The Foundation recently held its first open workshop in Athens, as part of Refugee Week Greece, inviting people of all ages to share their their own stories, questions, and vision about civic engagement in the digital era.
